Mary, Undoer of Knots Novena

“For the past several months, I have been praying the Novena to Mary, Undoer of Knots. One of the knots I brought to her was anger. Four years ago, my daughter resigned from a political position under circumstances that I felt were unfair. I thought I had worked through the hurt, but a few months ago the pain and anger surfaced again as strongly as ever. I found myself replaying old events and struggling with feelings I thought had long been buried. Instead of holding onto bitterness, I began praying. Two weeks ago within two days of each other, two of the three people who had played a role in that painful situation publicly lost their jobs, and the third person no longer has her shield. What it did remind me of was the truth of Scripture: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” I find myself praying for her safety and well-being. That is something only God could do in my heart. Thank you Mother Mary for bringing my hurts to Jesus.”
