“Some years ago, I "met" St. Philomena by reading about her. I felt moved in my heart to seek her aid in my social struggles. Since then, I've learned I have a unique social anxiety, but with her help and intercession over the years, I am learning more about this condition, how to manage it, and how I can let it be suffering to offer to God. I have not needed medical help or medication to reach the state I'm in now. Social situations that were once impossible or extremely difficult for me are now manageable or easy, and I don't get mentally fatigued as easily from social situations now.
