“I confused St. Teresa of Avila with St. Therese of Liseux as the “rose Saint,” so I prayed to Teresa of Avila for the conversion of my mother, and to send me a rose as a sign of her favor. Shortly after or maybe within the novena, 3 tiny but beautiful yellow roses sprung from a tiny rose bush in my yard that had been mowed down by a lawnmower and which I figured for dead.
It was beautiful, and then the rose bush got mowed over a second time by the neighbor kid. I prayed the novena a second time for my grandparents, and a second time, the bush I thought was a goner sprouted yellow roses.”
