You are the Pope I grew up with, and as I've grown older, I've come to appreciate more deeply your place in the life of the Church and in my own faith. Please teach me to live your message, “Be not afraid,” to trust Jesus when I cannot see what lies ahead, and to love Mama Mary as you did. Help me grow in courage, faithfulness, and love for Jesus and His Church. I hope our friendship continues to grow, dear Holy Father.
