“When I prayed my novena to St. Raphael, I asked him to protect my calling to marriage from anything seeking to destroy it, and to do the same for my friend Alex. I wasn’t expecting a dramatic answer but grace came quietly. Shortly after, I received the grace to make my first confession. I believe the soul sometimes needs clearing before a path can be prepared. Then independently, Alex told me he had completed a nine day novena for me, praying 22 decades daily invoking St. Joseph, St. Raphael, St. Anne and Our Lady of Walsingham for the very same intention. We had been interceding for each other simultaneously without knowing. St. Raphael answered not with a husband yet, but with something first. Grace, confession, and a renewed call to pray again from a state of grace. Just as he guided Tobias quietly, step by step, he is preparing hearts. The prayer is still unfolding. “Two people I love were both unemployed at the same time. I prayed to both Saint Raphael and Saint Jude for them to gain employment. They were both unemployed for a long time and very depressed. Within one week of finishing the novena’s both of them got jobs and today are still employed and it has been two years. I can’t think Saint Raphael in Saint Jude enough.”
