“Initially I was praying for a colleague, but I had forgotten to include the father of an online acquaintance who was recently diagnosed with cancer. God knew my heart and my intentions, and on day 8 my friend reached out and thanked me directly for praying for her father, saying he was cancer free. My heart sank. I had forgotten to add him to my prayers. My friend could have said nothing to me despite receiving the good news, as we’ve never met and our friendship is casual. But she still felt the need to tell me, which both showed me the glory of God through the answered prayer, while humbling me all the while. Even through our human error and forgetfulness— the Lord continues to teach us, while answering the prayers of many.”

“Im a cancer survivor, my surgery included my lymph nodes. I usually get really bad pain, at my incision site. This morning I was feeling alot of pain, and I said Jesus I give up this pain to you, for the souls of Purgatory, as soon as the words left my lips I felt the pain just fade away. I had just got done with a novena to St Peregrine. Thank you St Peregrine and my Lord. Amen.”
