“My dearest Mama, Our Lady of Sorrows, 🤍🌹 Today, on your feast, I simply want to thank you for being my Mama. Thank you for letting me come to you with everything I carry, even the things I cannot explain. When I think of you beneath the Cross, I see a Mother who stayed. You loved Jesus through the deepest sorrow and trusted God even when your heart was breaking. Please teach me that kind of love and trust. I finished your novena, Mama, but I don't want the prayers to end there. I want to know you more, to love you more, and to become more like the daughter you are teaching me to be. Please keep me close to your Immaculate Heart and hold all the intentions I have entrusted to you, including the ones that remain between you and me. You already know. 🤍 Thank you for being my Mama. “I decided to consecrate myself to Mary under her title of Our Lady of Sorrows, it has been ny favorite Marian devotion since I often find consolation uniting my sorrows to hers. I of course included the novena in my consecration prep, and on the day of professing my consecration at the OLS bascillica in Chicago, the second I said "Amen" after kneeling at the altar saying the words of consecration, the church bells immediately started ringing and I recieved interior consolation that she has accepted my consecration. That day, I still had not yet received an answer to a prayer of the conversion of a loved one I had been uniting my sorrows to Mary for, but I still trusted her intercession and God's timing with radical confidence. The NEXT DAY the loved one I was praying for (for years!) Texted me and asked me for prayers and is finally seeking God. Glory to God! Totus Tuus!”
